Location Sets

Menu > Company Data > Locations > Location Sets

Location sets are logical groupings of defined locations.

When you define a location set, you enable your ERP system to use a shorthand address when passing transaction data to ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination .

Use this page to add, view, modify, and delete location sets.

Before using this page for the first time, please review Location Types, Shortcuts, and Tasks.

Add a new location set

1. Select Add Set from the Actions menu.
2. Enter a name in the Location Set field.
3. Select locations for the nine location types from their pull-down menus. You can specify any combination of location types that makes sense for your implementation.
4. Click the Submit button to save the set.

Modify an existing location set

1. Click the name of the location set.
2. Modify the location data.
3. Click the Submit button to save your changes.

Delete a location set

1. Click the name of the location set.
2. Select Delete Set from the Actions menu.
3. Click OK to confirm the deletion. Note that Workbench scenarios that rely on this set will be altered.

Location Sets Field Reference
Field	Req?	Description
Location Set	Y	The name of the location set.
Locations	Opt.	Select the Ship From, Ship To, Order Origin, Order Acceptance, Bill To, Supply, Middleman, Buyer Primary, and Seller Primary locations from the list of valid locations defined on the Edit Locations page.
